I have contributed to the Nutcracker for three years, starting by learning foundational stitching and construction techniques. Each year I’ve taken on more responsibility—designing a full scene in my second year and now helping create costumes across the entire production.
Costume Design
Over the past three years, I have become an essential part of the Nutcracker production team. My first year focused on learning the fundamentals—stitching, basic construction, and understanding how costumes support storytelling on stage. In my second year and third year, I took on more creative responsibility and helped design and sew the costumes for entire scenes, contributing original ideas and bringing them to life with precision and artistry.
