Nutcracker
I have contributed to the Nutcracker for three years, starting by learning foundational stitching and construction techniques. Each year I’ve taken on more responsibility—designing a full scene in my second year and now helping create costumes across the entire production.
Over the past three years, I have become an essential part of the Nutcracker production team. My first year focused on learning the fundamentals—stitching, basic construction, and understanding how costumes support storytelling on stage. In my second year, I took on more creative responsibility and designed the costumes for an entire scene, contributing original ideas and bringing them to life with precision and artistry. This year, I have stepped fully into a design role, helping create and build costumes across every scene in the production.
