My first passion was fashion and clothing design, which naturally opened the door for me to work in stagecraft and costume creation for local theater and dance productions. I attended a week-long fashion course in New York, where I strengthened my stitching skills, learned the design process, and gained experience selecting fabrics with intention and purpose.
