Sound Design Board
For Bite Me, I designed the sound effects to help tell the story and build tension for the audience. I wanted the sounds to slowly change how the scene feels—from calm and peaceful to uncomfortable and intense.
I started with natural sounds like crickets and flowing water to make the setting feel like a quiet summer night. As the story continues, the sounds become more strange and unsettling, using hissing air, pulsing tones, and low rumbles to show that something is wrong. The final sound is loud and sudden, ending in silence to create a strong, dramatic moment.
This project helped me learn how sound can affect emotions and support storytelling, even without words. I focused on layering, pacing, and contrast to guide the audience through the experience.
